I walk fearless thru the night
shadows made me who I am
I don't need sight to find my way
or the part i'm bound to take
chanting leaves predict the fall
they sweep around in rasping pools
at my feet, But that's a passing thought,
like broken tools of little use to me
Knowing doesn't need to see
there's nothing to console in me
And as the clouds put out the sky
I'm at home in the fearless dark.
I'm at home without the light.
